Effect of Household Solid Waste Compost on Growth and Yield of Tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) in Agroforestry System

Improvement of environment and soil fertility through utilization compost produced from household organic solid waste is effective agroforestry system an technology to increase the production per unit area. For this reason, a research was conducted evaluate performance on growth yield tomato in at experimental field Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during period November 2020 June 2021. The experiment with five treatments viz. T1, T2, T3, T4 T5 as recommended dose fertilizer, 10 ton/ha, 15 20 ton/ha 25 compost, respectively which were arranged by Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) three replications. Moringa tree used species BARI Tomato-2 planted under moringa tree. showed effects compared dose. significant 80% flowering (DAT), fresh weight plant, dry fruit number individual fruit, hectare T1 (RDF) but T2 (10 ton/ha) decreased significantly RDF (T1). Among those (T3, T5), plants, total plant than T3 T4. So, (25 optimum other doses.
